Littleton’s Tennis Club

2011

Where are we?

Littleton's Tennis Club is a village club situated in South Littleton,  approximately 4 miles outside Evesham. We are a relatively new club, formed in 1973. We have approximately 220 members who live in the Littleton's, the surrounding villages and Evesham.

Our Facilities

The club has 2 New Artificial Grass and 2 Macadam courts all with floodlights. Two of these courts were officially opened on 20th May 2000. We have a brand new brick built clubhouse with toilets, showers and disabled access.

The Winners & Runners up of the South Worcestershire Schools Tennis Finals 2007

try out our new artificial grass courts.

All this has been possible because of a £106,429 grant from Sport England (Lottery Fund), £15,000 from Foundation of Sports & Arts, £15,000 from Wychavon District Council, £12,000 loan from the LTA and our own fundraising.

A large ball wall has been installed next to one of the courts so you can warm up while waiting for other members.

What does the club have to offer?

The club has a very open policy whereby anyone who wishes to join is welcome to come along and try out the facilities and then join if they wish. The club has no playing in policy and all members are encouraged to play on club nights and in all other tournaments.

Competitive Play

The club plays in various leagues, men's, ladies, mixed and junior around the counties.

At present we have:

4 men's winter teams

3 men's summer teams
